Please don't add references or links to things you or your employer have created as others will do so if they appreciate it.

I would like to have First Contributions on this list, as it's one of the entry points for beginners to contributing to Repos and open source - especially with the first-contributions repository 👍 I haven't contributed to it yet, but I think that lots of beginners can benefit from a repo like that.

You might guess: I am a member of the First Contributions organization - but that's just because I really like what @Roshanjossey is doing there and with these helpful Repos and would like to support this a litte further 👍 I'm far from being a maintainer or community manager or something like that. I hope you'd take a "recommendation" from someone like me.

Now that this project has grown a bit we'll accept a PR to add this. Let's continue conversation in https://github.com/github/opensource.guide/issues/739.
